Kristen Leigh Studio

Kristen Leigh Steen is an artist and surface pattern designer residing in Houston, Texas. After spending five years cultivating her brand as a calligrapher and wedding stationer, she discovered new inspiration through creating watercolor illustrations and designs. Kristen’s classic and playful style paired with fresh color palettes are a common theme throughout all of her unique designs- be it a textile pattern, apparel pattern, or custom illustration.

She is a self-taught creative whose artistry is influenced by the joyful curiosity of her two children. Her work is driven by the hope that she can bring a little light into every day. When she’s not doodling or designing, Kristen enjoys her early bird mornings with big cups of coffee, long runs, and spending time with her family.
